Savannah - Hedy Oliphant Deason, a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend departed to be with her Lord, April 1, 2009. Hedy was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, November 16, 1933. She pursued a college education while working fulltime and raising her family. She moved to Savannah over a decade ago and loved living here. She will be missed by all who know her.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Bill R. Deason of Savannah, GA; children, George Deason and his wife, Sally of Ruffin, SC; Michael McGregor and his wife, Debbie of Bloomfield, MN; Billy David Deason of Savannah, GA; and Susan Inveninato of Tybee Island, GA; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
